Hi, I’m Rhys and I help International Professionals and Third Culture Individuals to overcome the challenges of making friends and business connections, becoming valued and accepted for what makes you different, and navigating cultural differences with more ease (and less stress), while creating a sense of home, wherever you are.

I grew up in New York City but based in Amsterdam, currently. I started my career as a Risk Consultant at Deloitte, NY, and later at EY, Amsterdam. My experience in a demanding consulting environment for the past 20 years has taught me to become resilient and understand that leadership is not a one size fits all skillset (due to cultural differences). It’s all too common to feel left out at work or in personal life and have a hard time making friends when you’re in a different culture. Communication alone is a huge block in building relationships, but add on cultural differences in expectations and behaviors, and it can be incredibly stressful.

I have coached individuals and an executive to help them gain self-awareness, achieve their development objectives, clarify goals, and navigate through cultural differences in their professional world.

Drs Annemarie Snoeck, MCC

Annemarie Snoeck is an ICF Master Certified Coach, Coach Trainer and Mentor Coach.

She is skilled in Life Coaching, Leadership and Business Coaching, Personal- and Team Development and Mentor Coaching. Her areas of expertise include: personal development, stress & burnout, coaching skills, communication skills and team development.

Since 1996 Annemarie has her own company, and this entrepreneurship gives her a big variety in experiences, which brings high quality into her work.

She graduated from the MMS Worldwide Institute in 2009 and since then is building and enriching her coaching practice. She holds the Master certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a trauma informed coach and has a variety of tools in her toolbox, giving her clients insight on personality, behavior, communication and perspective and enabling her to support her clients in every way possible.

Prior to her work as a coach she was a marketing consultant for 15 years. She has seen a lot of organizations from the inside.

She is a mother of three, two students and the eldest has started working.

2022 – date           Coach Trainer of the MMS Advanced Coach Training (ICF Certified program) for OakTreeMe Academy

Member of the training faculty: leading, teaching and facilitating the ICF Transformational Executive Coach Certification program. A hybrid program with a lot of personal development and experiental learning elements.

2008 – date            Life Coach and Mentor Coach

*Coaching managers, teamleaders, colleague-coaches and every individual and team who are seeking answers to both personal or professional issues. They are often related to stress and burnout, career changes, work-life balance, life purpose, communication and relationships.

*Mentor coaching and assessing for several Coaching Schools, and for colleague-coaches who want to obtains their next ICF level, PCC or MCC.

*And in co-operation with Blue Orchard, teaching the Mentor Coach Certification Program in the Netherlands.

2009 – 2013          Coach Trainer and Mentor Coach for The MMS Worldwide Institute, The Netherlands

Member of the team facilitating the intensive 3 months Coach Training

Programs: training, coaching, mentoring and assessing coach students in both achieving their

personal/professional objectives and in becoming transformational coaches.

2014 – 2019           Trainer and Coach for The BegripsCode/ The Code of Understanding, Netherlands

As a member of a small trainer group she trained teams in the largest organization of the Netherlands, The Dutch Police during their reorganization. The trainings were about communication styles and inspired hundreds of teams to work more effectively together. For the BegripsCode Coach Training she designed the program on coaching skills and she organized and trained in these programs.

Coach Education

2019 -2022           Received her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner degree: a 3-year study on Somatic Experiencing, a practice for trauma therapy, founded by Peter Levine. The practice and knowledge of this education about stress and anxiety is being integrated in her coaching, resulting in a continuous refinement of her work.

2021                       Received her ICF Master Certified Coach qualification.

2017                       Certified as Mentor Coach from a 7 months program delivered by Damian Goldvarg.

2016                       Graduated from the MMS ACTP Training to get qualified as a ICF Professional Certified Coach.

2015                      Graduated as a Transformational Presence coach – founded and teached by Alan Seale. An ICF accredited program on presence, leadership and transformation, with impactful tools.

2009 – 2013          Traineeship to become a Leader in MMS Worldwide Coach Training Program. This included having ongoing supervision on my facilitation, coaching, assessing and mentoring activities in the Coach Training and of completing the Masterclass – a program that prepares MMS graduates for leading the Coach Training.

2011                       Lumina Learning Accreditation – an insightful training tool based on C.G.Jung and Big5.

2009                       Graduated from the MMS Coach Training as MMS Certified Coach.

2008                      Accredited as Insights Practitioner; this personality tool started up her coach and training practice.
